In the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, you’ll find Kathy’s studio perched at 8600 feet. It is here that she has perfected her style of “fingerpainting” in soft pastel. An innovator at heart, sheappreciates improvisation, enjoys breaking accepted rules and loves the use of vibrant color. Her artwork has been featured in Southwest Art and Luxe magazines, in hotels, on stationary and is collected internationally.
An avid researcher of all things, she considers it part of her life’s purpose to share the knowledgeshe gathers. Her method of teaching is grounded in technique, experimentation and the sharing of intriguing information about the subject at hand. Most importantly, she ensures that every student is able to build their confidence level in a safe and playful environment.
